2016 Workshop Schedule
Yerai Cortés will be teaching how to play and accompany with flamenco dance and singing.
Technique and improvisation.
The last day will be a joint class with Guadalupe Torres dance workshop and Juan Debel Cante workshop. Guitarits will be playing for dancers and singers
Yeray Cortes, 1995 in Alicante.
His passion for flamenco comes from family, from the hand of his father, Miguel, who taught him to play the guitar and his mother Maria who instilled in him the music.
Currently resides in Madrid where he began his career working in the best Flamenco in the city such as: Las Carboneras, Villa Rosa, Casa Patas, Corral de la Moreria, among others. And in theatres such as: Teatro de Bellas Artes (Madrid), Teatro Coliseum (Barcelona), Teatro Lope de Vega (Seville), among others. And has had the honor of accompanying the likes of: La negra, La tana, Richard Bona, Marcos flores, Alfonso Losa, Manuel Liñan, Las hermanas Bautista, Chuchito Valdés, Javier Colina, among others. He is also music composer and performer of songs like "La Zapatera” Juan Debel & Yerai Cortés and the show "FlamenKlorica" of Vanesa Coloma. Lover of good music and creativity. He is a promising guitarist.
