Choreography classes
*technique requires to dance choreography for any dance form. Choreography classes come with technique classes. Only taking choreography is not allowed.
1) Tarantos
2 hours per class including technique
8 hours technique and 8 hours choreography in total
We will use finger cymbals.

Technique is the most fundamental elements to dance and perform.
Adrián Santana was born in Málaga and comes from a family of artists. His uncle Pepito Vargas, a well-known flamenco dancer, taught him all his knowledge about the art of flamenco. At the age of seventeen, he was cast in a solo role for the show by the choreographer Carmen Mota for five years. Then he has worked for José Porcel’s flamenco company in London, the company of Camborio and Lucia del Real at the Rome Opera “La Traviata”, the production of Paco Mora in the Bienal de Flamenco de Málaga, the company of Aida Gómez, the show “Flamenco Hoy” by Carlos Saura sharing the stage with artists like Concha Jareño, Pastora Galván and Rocío Molina.
He also has worked at Flamenco Festival USA, “Dressed to Dance” presented at the Guggenheim Museum in New York led by Margaret Jova and choreographed by Carlos Chamorro sharing the stage with artists like María Pagés, Manuel Liñán and Rocío Molina among others. He has taught numerous courses in Flamenco and Spanish Dance in places like Taipei (Taiwan) where he returns several times a year. He has also won several awards including the first prize in the choreography competition "Málaga Crea" (2005), the second prize for choreography and the first prize for scenic imagery at El Certamen de Danza Española y Flamenco de Madrid with his piece "Siempre me pasa lo mismo" (2010). In 2012, he was part of the production “REW’ by Manuel Liñán and Daniel Doña’s company as a soloist, premiered at the Teatro Paco Rabal. In February 2013 and 2014, he performed “Flamenco Classico” "Flamenco Passion" with City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong and gave the first workshop in Hong Kong at the Clara Ramona Flamenco Dance Centre. In summer, he performed his own show "SIMBIOSIS" at Los Veranos del Corral del Carbón. He dances at tablaos such as Villa Rosa, Casa Patas in Madrid, El Tablao Arenal in Sevilla, Los Tarantos in Barcelona, etc all over Spain.
